Bare Tanning Lounge is a personalised tanning company based in Port Noarlunga South, South Australia, where the tanning never stops! The place is open 24/7 and it's fully automated, where you book a time, arrive at your slot, and everything is prepared for you - anytime, any day.
The website, accessible via https://baretanninglounge.com/ showcases the brand and the colour scheme throughout with a mix of creams and browns - showcasing the tanning colours and various skin-tones. Each webpage has a similar layout to keep the viewer understanding the User Interface quickly and making it accessible across multiple platforms with ease of transition.
The development consisted of the designing each individual page, formatting the header and footer, photography of natural colours and landscapes, designing a tanning guide page within Adobe InDesign, and setting up Search Engine Optimisation.
Bare Tanning Lounge officially opened its doors to the public on 20th of November, 2025.

The Lounge (or the Home Page)
This is the landing page for the website, which showcases the owners and the style of lounge itself in-person as well, as throughout the home page, it sets the luxury standard for the business digitally and brings you into the lounge within the touch of your finger-tips.
This page features some custom HTML, accessible only on a computer, which currently is active as a special bonus offer - which can be used throughout the businesses operations.
About and Frequently Asked Questions
As the tans are fully automated, the about page goes through the process of how the tans work and to answer any questions that the viewer is wanted to get answered. The first thing that the client notices is the booth, to showcase how the process if completed to put the booker at ease.
The various tans options that are available appear in a drop-down menu, this reduces the space for the page, but then also make it easier for the viewer to pick one and expand to locate their information they desire.
Similar to the next two sections that features a quick run-down for client to understand the process digitally - while in-person has a more visual guide for the client instead, and finally followed by the frequently asked questions.
Pricing and Terms & Conditions
This page is very basic, as it meant to give the viewer exactly what they require upfront - without any unwanted information or distracting them from identifying the option they require. While there are various buttons under each plan, they all link to the same page, this is to confirm the user the option - and due to the third-party integration, we're unable to select or prefill the option for the client.
Concluding this page is the terms and conditions, basic and collapsed by default so if there is anyone that requires or desires that information, then they are able to locate it easily.
Book Here / Packages
The final page is the booking page or packages, while the title and all material to this page is "book here" - it is directly references as Packages, as it linked into the booking platform being GymManagement for the company. Before the viewer books their appointment, they have an option to go ahead and find their appropriate tan which has been setup to make sure the viewer is selecting their appropriate tan.
Followed by has two embedded options, first is the booking option to allowing the viewer to book their appointment, then second option is a "Contact Us" option within GymManagement. The colours for GymManagement were also changed for to fit the colour scheme for the lounge.
For this website, it also included a physical print-out of a tanning guide and a colour guide as well. This design incorporated the colour scheme for the brand and syncs up to the website, which is all called-back to the original colours to showcase the luxury and providing the consumer all the appropriate information required.
